Boudoir henna

Whether you’d like to spice things up at home, you’ve scheduled an embodiment photo shoot, or you just want to remind yourself of your own wondrous beauty, henna is the perfect choice.

Boudoir henna appointments take place in the privacy of your home. Due to the larger coverage areas, appointments usually take 90 minutes or more. Please reach out to discuss your needs so we can allocate the right amount of time for your appointment.

Crowns

The term “henna crown” refers to henna applied to the scalp. As the name indicates, henna crowns adorn the wearer with a feeling of beauty and royalty.

Clients choose this option to adorn heads affected by alopecia, chemotherapy,* or even a personal decision. Ideally, the head would be as free from hair as possible in order for the henna to be applied easily. Appointments generally take 60-90 minutes, at your home or another private location.

Due to the sometimes sensitive medical conditions of clients who seek out henna crowns, all henna formulated for crowns is made using lavender essential oil, the gentlest option. If you have an allergy or sensitivity to lavender, the oil can be left out altogether (although this might affect the darkness of the stain somewhat).

*For those clients going through chemotherapy, the first application of a henna crown is free. I apply the cost of that appointment to the next client experiencing cancer treatments—in this way, each client pays the appointment forward to the next.

Tattoo trials, formals… and more

There are many other possible reasons you might want henna—too many to name here. A few common ones, however, include tattoo trials or formal events.

  • Many clients come to Hennamorphosis for a trial run before getting a permanent tattoo. These are usually booked as a 60- to 90-minute appointment, and can occur in a private setting, should you need it.

  • Formal events can be made even more glamorous with the addition of henna or glitter body art. Hennamorphosis can even echo the design of your formalwear, if you’d like—just send us some ideas ahead of your appointment.

  • The possible reasons for getting henna are limited only by your imagination. If you have an idea, please reach out—collaboration is our favorite!
